An Intro to “The Blisspreneur’s Journey ™
I’m Sunny SunRai and I Facilitate BLISS!
Since the start of my career, I have worked with hundreds of talented individuals through my consulting firm SunRai Consulting Group and I must say, I am blessed to have such a diverse portfolio.
I started my business almost 5 years ago as a spin-off from a personal blogging project that put me in tune with super dope artists like Dwele, Chrisette Michele and many more. My blog Everyday SunRai was my first project as a entrepreneur. I had just left my job a few months before my official launch without much of a plan and jumped into pursuing my passion; providing a platform for independent talent to share their work and gain exposure.
Since then, I have experienced many transformations personally and professionally. Though my ideal market has had a definite metamorphosis, the one thing that remains absolute is my desire to inspire creative entrepreneurs. I’m committed to helping entrepreneurs exercise the power of bliss to make money by doing what they love.

My mission is to inspire creative entrepreneurs to generate profit from passion. Through my online academy, I offer courses, lectures and workshops that teach professionals the power of branding their bliss!
What is BLISS?
Happiness and professional success—while often referred to synonymously—are not the same thing. I believe that one precedes the other. Happiness alone does not equal cash flow, but it is a major component to obtaining wealth.
There are many different approaches to starting a business but my experience has taught me a formula that I believe is practiced by every creative entrepreneur. While learning to appreciate my own unique journey, I spent countless hours studying the happiest and most successful entrepreneurs to find they all have a story that can be broken into three stages and even further down to seven steps. I have coined this model The Blisspreneur’s Journey™ and through it, I facilitate clients through the process of establishing a blissful and profitable business.
What does it mean to Brand Your Bliss?
In a 1988 interview American mythologist and author Joseph Campbell states that “If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are — if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time.”
This is a philosophy that is often summarized by the phrase “Follow your bliss” inspired from the Sanskrit words Sat (Being, Existence), Chit (Consciousness), and Ananda (Bliss) and these concepts have birthed this principle that serves as foundation for my personal journey.
When you take the time to discover your bliss, your values, your assets, the things that give you great joy, you unlock the creative potential that is innate and encoded into your genetic makeup. This potential often lays dormant and awaits the opportunity to reveal itself but, once you discover the potential you recognize your value. In time you’ll see that your values are demonstrated in your activities and how you choose to spend your time. Ultimately, your passion points to your bliss.
Value = Profit
Once you have inventoried your passions you can assign it value. In order to be a successful Blisspreneur ™, we have to first offer value to the world before it is returned to us a cash flow.
The Blisspreneur Journey™ begins by asking:
What am I most passionate about?
What are my values?
What are my assets?
How do I relate to the world?
Ultimately, every entrepreneur can develop their personal attributes into a physical manifestation; a brand.
In my weekly column, we will study some of the most recognized businesses and moguls like Oprah, Beyoncé, and Will Smith to break down each step of their Blisspreneur’s Journey™. We’ll use the psychology of branding to determine their Brand Archetype ID (personality, color, design, logo type, name, and symbols) and how it was used to establish a creative and scalable business model that speaks to their consumer’s mind. I will also demonstrate how you can use this information in your own brand identity.
